These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Bl-inked PMU Clinic ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Laura Goodacre, trading from a private home studio in Wickford, Essex. By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.
Our services include permanent makeup (PMU), semi-permanent makeup, lash extensions, nail treatments and related beauty services. These terms apply to all clients regardless of how a booking is made.
You must be 18 years of age or older to receive any permanent makeup or semi-permanent cosmetic treatment at Bl-inked PMU Clinic. Proof of age may be requested.
Certain medical conditions, medications or skin types may affect your suitability for treatment. You are required to disclose all relevant medical history, current medications and known allergies during your consultation. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is not safe or appropriate for you.

It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant health information truthfully. Failure to do so may result in adverse reactions for which Bl-inked PMU Clinic cannot be held liable.
A full consultation is required prior to your first appointment. During this consultation, we will review your medical history, discuss your desired outcome and agree on a treatment plan.
A patch test is mandatory for all new lash extension clients and strongly recommended for clients with sensitive skin or known allergies. Patch tests must be carried out at least 48 hours before treatment. We cannot proceed with treatment if a patch test has not been completed where required.
By proceeding with treatment after your consultation, you confirm that all information you have provided is accurate and complete.
All appointments must be booked in advance. Bookings can be made via our online booking system. A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be deducted from your total treatment cost.
Your appointment is not confirmed until a confirmation has been sent to you. Please ensure your contact details are correct when booking.
We kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment to other clients.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment at any time. In such cases, we will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative appointment or full refund of any deposit paid.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to carry out your full treatment and the appointment may need to be rescheduled. In such cases, your deposit may be forfeited.
Please do not arrive at the studio if you are feeling unwell, have a contagious illness or have an active infection in or near the treatment area.
Results from permanent makeup and semi-permanent treatments vary between individuals. Factors including skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products and aftercare compliance all affect the longevity and appearance of your results.
We make no guarantee of specific results. A top-up appointment is included within the treatment package and is recommended 6–8 weeks after your initial session to perfect your results. Missing this appointment may affect the final outcome and will not entitle you to a further complimentary session.
Colour may appear significantly darker or more intense immediately after treatment. This is completely normal. Please refer to your aftercare guidance for the healing timeline.
Full aftercare instructions will be provided to you following every treatment. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions carefully. Failure to do so may negatively affect your results and/or cause complications, for which Bl-inked PMU Clinic cannot be held responsible.
You must not expose the treated area to water, saunas, swimming pools or direct sunlight during the initial healing period as outlined in your aftercare instructions.
With your prior consent, we may take before and after photographs of your treatment results for use on our social media channels, website and marketing materials. You will be asked to provide written consent before any photographs are taken. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
If you share photographs of your results on social media, we kindly ask that you credit @bl_inkedspmu.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your treatment or experience, please contact us directly in the first instance at [email protected]. We will endeavour to resolve any concerns promptly and professionally.
We are committed to delivering the highest standard of care. If you have a concern about the safety or hygiene of your treatment, you may also contact your local authority's environmental health department.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Bl-inked PMU Clinic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Our total liability to you in connection with any single treatment shall not exceed the amount paid for that treatment.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
